Hypnotherapy Rewires Your Subconscious: Jenn Boyt

Published Thursday, October 22, 2026
Most people hear the word hypnosis and picture a stage and a volunteer clucking like a chicken. Courtney Pearl and her guest, Jen Boyt, were talking about something quieter and far more practical: the idea that many of the beliefs running your life were written before you could reason about them at all. Jen is a certified hypnotherapist trained in RTT, rapid transformational therapy, and a certified mindset coach. Their conversation kept returning to one question: if you already know a belief is untrue, why does your subconscious keep acting on it?
Jen’s core claim is that we absorb most of our operating system between birth and about age seven, long before the logical mind is fully online. Those early adaptations protected us once, but they keep running long after the threat is gone. Jen also described a structured RTT session and a daily listening practice designed to help new patterns stick. For anyone who has ever known the right answer and still felt the old fear, this one goes straight at that gap.
🎙️ Yes And Land: New Episode This Week
Soul and Going From Lone Wolf to Leader | Kit Bate

Published Thursday, October 22, 2026
Kit Bate watched Disney’s Newsies so many times on a family road trip that he could quote it by heart. Jack Kelly, the best newsie in 1899 Manhattan, spends most of the film planning to leave the streets behind, and Bate saw himself in that restless kid. The real lesson, as Bate tells it, is how Jack eventually stops trying to escape and starts leading. That shift from lone wolf to leader is the thread running through this conversation.
Bate grew up without much and started hustling early, babysitting, mowing lawns, and taking whatever work helped the family get by. That grind shaped how he thinks about money, effort, and what people owe each other. He is direct about the instant gratification he sees in younger generations, and he is honest about how parents who worked hard can accidentally take the struggle away from their kids. His approach to his own son, splitting big-ticket items and keeping the effort with the kid, is a model worth hearing.

🎧 The Hammerin’ Hank Show: New Episode This Week
Radio Stories, Trivia & Sports (Hammerin Hank Show With Henry Ochs & Ryan Hoppe: Episode 72)

Published Monday, October 19, 2026
Radio used to be a place where a guy could say something ridiculous on the air and somebody in the building would laugh. Hammerin’ Hank Ochs still thinks that is the best job in the world, and this episode is an hour of Bay Area radio nostalgia, pop music trivia, and sports opinions, with Ryan Hoppe keeping the conversation on track. Hank’s favorite memories live in the studio, from the 1997 Wild 94.9 Blue Bomb concert to the Ultimate Survivor game from 2000, when stations were willing to put their personalities in the middle of the fun.
The trivia is where the hosts get stuck, and that is half the appeal. Hank’s misses on classic hits make for real-time reactions you can hear through the speakers. The sports segment is loud, opinionated, and unscripted, which is exactly the point. If you want a fan’s take instead of a stat sheet, this is your lane.
🎧 The Ghost Movie Project: New Episode This Week
The Conjuring Movies: Real Warrens, Real Demons?

Published Wednesday, October 21, 2026
The first time I watched The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 back to back, I lost track of which movie I was in. That is a sign of how tightly James Wan stacks one scare on top of another. These films are sold as based on a true story, and that label does more work than any special effect. It tells you the room you are sitting in once held real people, real fear, and real families who called real investigators for help.
Ed and Lorraine Warren sit at the center of this franchise, and they are more complicated than the movies let on. Ed was a self-taught demonologist, lecturer, and artist, and the episode looks at how their public personas, books, and lectures made them a lightning rod. The conversation also draws a useful line between ghosts and demonic presences, and why the films’ villains matter more than the apparitions. If you have ever wondered how much of the Warren legend is real, this one digs into it.
