Sabrina Carpenter’s Halloween Looks Channel Stevie Nicks and Hairspray
Sabrina Carpenter skipped the pointy hat this Halloween. According to Billboard, the pop star posted photos to Instagram on Monday, Nov. 2, showing her in a black dress with big, flowy sleeves, a black hat and a tambourine, a nod to Fleetwood Mac frontwoman Stevie Nicks. iHeartRadio reports the look came five months after the two performed together at the 2026 Met Gala, when they sang Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide” for the audience.
Carpenter also dressed as Penny Pingleton, the character Amanda Bynes played in the 2007 film version of Hairspray. Reel 360 News notes she leaned into the role on TikTok, singing along to “You Can’t Stop the Beat” with friends dressed as Link Larkin and Tracy Turnblad. Billboard adds that the costume stacked up against other celebrity Halloween looks this year, from Paris Hilton’s Britney Spears homage to Keke Palmer’s nod to Janet and Michael Jackson.

Why This Week’s Headlines Feel Familiar to Our Hosts
Long before this week’s costume roundup, there was a Hank story waiting to be told. Ryan Hoppe and Hammerin’ Hank spend plenty of time on the artists, shows and radio memories that shaped them, and that same spirit runs through their conversations about Sabrina Carpenter.
On the episode, Hank talks about the pop music he’s been spinning at KCRH and the kind of concert he wants to see. In another episode, the episode, he admits his wish list of artists he’d love to meet, including Sabrina Carpenter, is less a checklist of trending names and more a sign that he’s genuinely been listening. Ryan keeps the pace moving with trivia and a steady stream of pop culture banter, while Hank brings the stories.
Their take is refreshingly unpolished: they care about the music, they say what they like, and they don’t pretend otherwise. If you enjoy a host who treats pop culture like a conversation with a friend, pull up a chair and listen to the show.
