Mabon Magic: Autumn Equinox Manifestation & Crystal Healing

In This Episode

As autumn arrives, Courtney and Jaime sit down at Rising Moon Minerals to talk about what it means to harvest the year's work and trust the timing of your own expansion.

Jaime's been away from the shop for ten days, reconnecting with family at Flaming Gorge and sourcing new inventory in Denver. But the real conversation centers on what happens when you're ready for something the universe isn't quite ready to give you yet. After eight months of searching for a new space, Jaime finally found the right location, with landlords who actually respond and move things forward. The lesson: patience isn't about waiting passively. It's about understanding that what you want may not be ready for you yet.

They pull the Fawn card from the Season of the Witch deck, which opens into a conversation about inner child healing, resilience, and the belief systems that keep us stuck. Courtney shares her work with a business coach on a core limiting belief: that you can't make money doing what you love. This belief has shaped her entire adult life, from career choices to how she shows up in her business now.

The episode weaves together Mabon traditions, the Wheel of the Year, and practical crystal wisdom with Petrified Site, a transformative stone that supports protection, power, and deep personal change.

Hello, welcome to Practically Magick. Usually when we're here, the camera's there, and we're looking at the screen now as we're there. So I'm just gonna apologize ahead of time because I'm gonna be like, looking back and forth. I'll just talk to you. Yeah.

That'll be great. I'm Courtney Pearl, your host, and our co-host today is? Hi, Jaime with Rising Moon Minerals. Nice to be back. You should recognize our space from season three.

We were here every episode of season three, so I'm super happy to be back. It was like the good old days, getting up early, setting up in the shop, getting ready. I'm going to work out after this, so I'm in my workout gear. You look very nice and camped and curled and purled and ready to go for the day. So you just got back from Flaming Gorge.

How was that? Yeah, so we spent a few days in Flaming Gorge with the family and camping and relaxing, and then we went from Flaming Gorge to Denver. Oh yeah. So I was in Denver. Been gone a while.

Shopping for new products. Anything exciting? For the new space. Anything you want to tease out there that you got in Denver? Oh my gosh, I got so much stuff.

I'm so excited to put a lot of it out. Just super excited. Just, yeah. I always love it when you come back and do inventory because I'm like, ooh, what'd you get? Three full days of shopping.

Wow. Yeah, it was a lot. It was a ton of fun. I'm very blessed to have a husband that slept with me. And he actually was very encouraging, which I kind of got mad at him because I was like, I don't want to be spending this much money.

Can you stop talking me into spending so much money? He's like, but this, you could get this, and then there's that, and this would be great. I'm just thinking of the new space. I'm thinking of the new space. So things are progressing.

So if things go well, then I'm going to have a new space October 1st. Oh my gosh, that is so exciting. So we're going to stay tuned with that, with news of that, updates as that comes along. We're going to have a dedicated space for doing live sales and podcasting. So things are going to be awesome.

Yeah, maybe just a little more room. This is cozy. It is. We've had our fun here. Yeah.

Sometimes it's a little tight when we're getting ready and set up. I should record that sometime and release a clip of us setting up and bumping into each other, knocking things over. Again, the space has been awesome, and it's really, really been awesome to see what you've done with it. Like the amount of inventory you're able to put in here, but also it doesn't feel, I've never felt like it was cramped. I just felt, I feel like it's a lot.

And when you look at like one of these kiosk spaces was empty for a bit, and you saw how much space it really is, you're like, how is she doing? It's magical. It is literally like the clown car magic of like, how does she get like a full store worth of stuff that people are looking for? Well, we're gonna kind of talk about that today because we're gonna talk about manifesting and things coming into fruition when we talk about the autumn equinox. So this episode's gonna come out close to around the autumn equinox, or in the Sabbath, they call it Mabon.

You might remember my episode last year, I think we talked about Mabon, but I'm gonna just reiterate once again that Mabon is the name of a Welsh god, son of Mordoran the great mother, and has nothing to do with the autumn equinox. And the Welsh are very protective about that. They're like, that was sort of yoinked and plopped into that space because there wasn't a name for the autumn equinox when the Wiccan, the man who wrote some of the texts for the Wiccan doctrine and religion, he needed a name for it and chose that one. I personally think it's great to have that name on the autumn equinox just to give awareness to a Welsh god and the Welsh culture, and so why not? So I say Mabon, but just makes you say it right.

Mabon is how it's pronounced. So I have my cards for Mabon. These are my season of the witch autumn equinox cards. You have the orange foil. Let me just see if I, I feel like I'm on that.

Look which one do I look at, which, yes. And this is on sale for 10.99, if you'll just look on this, no, anyway. I love the foil on the sides of those. I know, these are some of my favorites. Do you wanna pick the card?

Sure. I don't know what we're gonna pick. It's gonna be. It usually works out the way it's meant to. It's the fawn.

Fawn. The curious dear child and explore the world within worlds. Ooh, I'm gonna show it. See if I can get it on camera without being, okay, there we go. I love the moth.

I had a moth in the bathroom last night. Made its way all the way into your bathroom. I was like, hey, there's a moth in the bathroom. I don't mind it. He can stay if he wants, but just so everyone knows, there's a happier outside.

You see a lot of moths. You'll see like as autumn decor and seasons start changing. Oh, you do. You have some on your shoes. Those are great shoes.

Yes, I love them. Man, I need new shoes. Okay, so the moth, the dear, candlelight. She's got like a bird skull on her forehead. Like, is that the raven skull?

The raven skull or the, yeah, the little point. Very witchy. And then she's kind of like looking at a recipe book, it feels like. Could be a grimoire or a spell book. Has a moth.

And is that a moth? There's the moon. Yeah. And like there's kind of this, well, there's an apple on the ground, but there's kind of like, you can see underground and there's like little creatures and mushrooms and kind of things inside the dirt. Yeah, so like everything was going into hibernation.

The decay, the like, yeah. The kind of, you see more of that mushrooms and moth aesthetic is what I was getting at. The decor is coming out for autumn. First of all, before I even say anything about the card, are we just so excited for autumn? Yes, yes.

I'm so ready. I'm so ready for it to not be 100 degrees every day. Yeah, I felt like summer lasted, I mean, summer was like the entire year. Because we didn't really have a winter last winter. There was no, hardly any snow.

We didn't have a lot of, yeah. So it just, the season's not really having a full change. Felt like summer just went on forever. And that is the definition of burnout. The summer that lasts forever.

We're just burning out with sun. So the fact that it's a little cooler and crisp this morning is so nice. The darkness. And the fall flannel. Yeah.

But it's interesting, cause Fawn, like a baby deer, more represents to me spring. Like baby animals you usually see during the springtime so that Fawn comes up. Fawn is my husband's grandmother's name, actually. I always liked that name for a girl. Not Fawn.

But yeah, you don't usually think about that for autumn. Which is interesting. I'm not sure how I feel about that at the moment. So I'll think on that and come back to it. But like everything else seems to be like moving into the colder months and darkness and going into hibernation.

And then there's those baby deer. It's like, hmm, does that fit in there? Yeah. I feel like there's something really powerful in there somewhere. I just can't think of it yet.

Maybe as we come to it. But the first thing I noticed was her hair. Yeah. I watched through your hair. It's a bright red and just like flowing in the wind.

And which is kind of like this let go. Be free. Wild, be yourself kind of feeling, which is a lot of kind of what we're gonna talk about today with autumn. So you were talking about, you know, doing that shopping and going and picking out inventory and doing all of that. And then the new space and autumn equinox and kind of the cycle of the year represents coming to what is it that you've invested so much in over the year or even lifetime.

I mean, it can kind of reflect life cycles in a year cycle. So it's kind of that end of life sort of feeling. So we all get to have that feeling where we look back over the year and say, how do I feel about how things went? Do I have regrets? Do I have, it's just kind of a time of reflecting and then harvesting all of the year's work.

So do you feel like that's kind of coming up with like finally maybe moving forward with a new space? You wanted that for so long. Yeah, it does feel like it has been a long time. And like when I talk to people about it, they're like, oh, you've only been looking for like eight months, that's not that long. I'm like, it feels really long.

It's like when I put, when I set my mind to something, I'm like, okay, I'm ready, let's do it now. And I'm not that type of person that's like, oh, we have this process and I have to wait and I have to continue to look and I have to keep putting time and energy into something when it's like, well, I'm ready, can you just give it to me now? So I think this was a big lesson for me to learn of patience and understanding that it doesn't work that way. It's not like, okay, well now I'm ready, hand it to me. Okay, let's go.

It's more of like, I'm ready. I feel like I'm ready, but the universe is saying, wait, you have this to prepare for, you need to understand this. And honestly, this space that I'm getting didn't come available until about a month ago, maybe two. Right. So it wasn't ready when I was.

And the fact that when it didn't come available and I went and looked at it and then I kept looking at other spaces and finally landed on that one that the people that are renting it, the leasing people are being very communicative. They're like, okay, let's move to the next step. Okay, let's move to the next step. Where every other place has been like a month, they'll wait a month before they respond to me. And I'm like, I'm not that kind of person that can just sit and be like.

Wonder and wait. Well, are they renting it out to somebody else? Do they not like something that they're seeing on my application? All of the thoughts start to go through my brain and I'm like, I don't like that feeling. So the fact that they're being very responsive, asking questions and open to the changes that I'm wanting and things like that.

So I think that was the lesson that I needed to learn was you might be ready, but what you're wanting isn't ready for you yet. Yes, that's a really good lesson. And I struggle with that too, because there's a lot of things that I get in my head about. You start to bring in some of those questions of like, well, what's wrong with me? And what am I not doing right?

Or what? And we've talked about that early in the year, lots of times where certain things just weren't working or you were like, I just wanna find that space. I just wanna get into it. And we were like, I think the right one will be right at the right time. And trusting that is kind of where we come into the end of the year vibes of like going into winter.

We come back to that space of trusting whatever higher power you believe in or whatever operations of the universe exists and however you'd see that happening. But that trust, coming back to that, because you're like, you know what, it all worked out. Even if it wasn't great and there's a lot of things that I didn't like about how it happened, you kind of come to a place and a lot of people come to this place at the end of their lives too, when they're in their 70s and that's kind of the time period I'm relating this to is looking back and going, well, there were a lot of things I would have done differently maybe, or I wish things would have been a different way, but also it all worked out. Like it's realizing that I learned what I was supposed to learn and it all came to fruition. This is also the time, and we've kind of talked about this last year at this time, it's the time of like showing off what you've done, what you've accomplished.

So a lot of people, that's why the state fair happens around this time is because you like come and show your like baked pie, your biggest vegetable in your garden, your best cow, whatever it was our ancestors did. We're doing that now in our modern society with like the red ribbons, the blue ribbons at the state fair, we kind of show off our trophies. What do you feel like you're showing off at this time of year from your year? Like for me this year, it's the resilience that I've had. It's been, I feel like it's been challenge after challenge in my business that the fact that I'm still here, still going and not only that I'm expanding, you know, like I'm not letting it break me down and I'm not letting it say, okay, this is enough.

I'm broken and I'm done. I'm persisting, I'm being very resilient and I'm proud of myself for that because it's so easy. And I can't even tell you how many times I thought to myself, okay, I'm done, I'm done. I'm just gonna end my lease. I'm gonna like clearance out all of my crystals and I'm just done.

But what's interesting is I say that to my husband and he goes, okay, then what? Yeah. And he doesn't, it's not in a bad way. It's not in an accusatory way. It's more of like, okay, so then what do you wanna do?

I think he understands and he sees how much joy this brings me. And so he's just kind of like trying to open my mind into, yes, you're going through struggles. Yes, you're in a hard phase of life right now. You're struggling with all of these things. But what does it look like on the other side of that?

Look, you know, what does it look like when you actually get through this? Is that really what you wanna do? Do you want these to defeat, these issues to defeat you, shut everything down and then live in regret? Or do you want to see what it's like to actually push through and still be here? Yeah, and make it all worth it.

Like what you've been through so far, and that's not to say that there aren't situations and people and whatever they're going through, where they go, I've had enough of this. Like this is not for me anymore. And that's, I think that's fine. I think that it's about, like you said, personally looking at what you went through and saying, but I don't wanna be doing anything else. I wanna be doing this.

So even as I push through this hard time or these struggles and find my way back to what it looks like, what success was when I defined what that is, I get asked that a lot. I have a business coach that I'm working with and she's like, again, we've had these questions before where like, what does success look like to you? And I'm like, well, like in my business, and I'm like, well, it's been the same. My goals of what I thought success would look like or when things looked successful have never changed. I've always just been working towards getting that.

Like having a consistent that, but it feels really discouraging sometimes to just be like, oh my gosh, I've been doing this for how long and it's still not quite where I want it to be. But then also looking back and going, but I did get diverted quite a bit. So no wonder that I'm not where I wanna be because I kept getting distracted or I kept listening to other people who told me I should be doing this or that or. Yeah, it's allowing ourselves to feel grace and understanding that it's not a direct path. It's not point A to point B and we just walk the path and nothing ever comes up and nothing ever gets in our way.

It's how quickly can you get from A to B? It's you go from A to 8.1, 8.2, and you've got children and you have animals in life. Like your business is not your full life. It can't be, right? Because if that's all you ever did, then you would burn out very, very quickly.

So you have to find a balance. And I think that's what's great about what I just came back from, right? I was away from my shop for 10 days. That's amazing. That was scary, right?

It's scary for me to leave this for 10 days, but I have great people that work for me that take care of the space for me, make sure that it keeps running. And I was able to take that time to relax, reconnect with my family, reconnect with nature, to be out in nature. And Flaming Gorge is great to a certain degree. Like I really do love trees and green. There's not a lot of that in Flaming Gorge.

It's very brown. It's very dusty, but the water is amazing. It's amazing. And it's great to have that ability to just kind of walk and get in the water whenever you want to. Get a little floaty and just like, and I did this one day.

I took a floaty and I just, I laid in it and I just let the water take me. And it's a little scary. I know, I was gonna say, I'm like, who rescued you? Luckily, my husband went and got a kayak and came out with a rope and like tied me to it, because literally minutes after that. I'm gonna go.

You come get me in a couple. Like make sure you know where I am, cause I'm out. Yeah, I mean, I was like, it was like a cove that I was floating in. So I don't know that I would have gone too far, but very possibly, but he did come out because right after he came out with the kayak and tied me to it, the wind picked up. And we ended up drifting, the two of us, like pretty far, but he had a paddle and all that stuff.

So it worked out, but sometimes it's nice to just be out there listening to the natural sounds of the water and the waves. I don't know, there's something about water that's just so, so healing. Yes, absolutely. And beautiful. I've been doing a lot of guided meditations where we find water and we do things with water.

And it's very cleansing. There's a lot to it that I have a very healthy fear of water that sometimes it takes me a few minutes to really understand, okay, I'm safe. I have a life jacket or whatever it is that keeps me safe. I'm not one that just was like, ah, I'm just gonna go run into the water. I did miss, I normally run this for the last five years, I think that Nourishing Kin has been doing their thing.

They always do at Mabon, they do thing at the Provo River. We get together, we make new besoms and we burn our old besoms from last year. And then we, that was where I learned to make fire cider one year. And then we always do like a dip in the Provo River. We call it cold plunge, but it's not.

It's not that cold. It's as warm as the Provo River ever gets at this time of year. And then it's not even like what people consider a cold plunge, but I think it's pretty cold. Yeah. I'm sorry, but I do, I think it's pretty cold.

So we do like a little plunge in there and we have dinner together and we sit by the campfire and we sing songs and we do our like whole thing. And this was the first year I missed it. I didn't go and I just, I'm a little sad about it, but I was like, you know what? I've done that, I've been there. It's okay that I'm not there this year.

But I missed the river. I missed like getting in the river and just being like, whatever. Not thinking about like, this is probably a really dirty river. I have no idea what's in this river. I don't know what I'm dipping in, but just being like free enough to just get in and.

Yeah, like for me, when I think about that, I think it's just gonna wash away all of those things that you've been carrying, especially in a river, because a river is constantly moving, regardless of how fast it's moving. It's gonna take those things and move them away from you. I love that. I haven't been in a river for a long time, but I think any body of water, when you go into it feeling like I wanna release this, that the water will take that for you and move it for you. It's a great way to transmit that energy.

And I think subconsciously, that's what I was doing when I was like, okay, I've gotta get in the water right now. Nobody else was in the water with me. It was just me. Yeah, just. Just floating out there.

I did put sunblock on. Yes, I did. I did wonder. I'm not gonna lie, the thought crossed my mind. I was like, I hope she won't.

Yeah. Being out there in the sun, that's because my son's a redhead too. We're like, cannot keep enough sunblock on that kid. All summer long, I'm like, lather it on. He doesn't like it.

He's like, stop. He needs to get a really, really bad sunburn. Oh, he has. You would think. I got so bad one year when I was a kid.

I think it was either lagoon or raging waters or something. I did not wear sunblock the whole day. I got heat stroke. I was pooping. Yeah, I've definitely worn my sun.

He had a bad sunburn one year and a big old blister bubble on his shoulder that popped and it's all gross and painful. He was just like, what's happening to me? And I was like, this is why we wear sunscreen. This is why we wear sunscreen. Oh gosh.

Mothers. What do mothers know? What do we know? It was kind of the, I don't know, theme of my own healing trajectory this last couple weeks, I guess, is my son started middle school. He loved it at first and then he was like, oh wait, this is like a lot of hard work and it's overwhelming.

We've always struggled because he doesn't want my help at all. He wants to do everything on his own. He wants to be on his own and I'm like, sweetheart, sweetheart, just let me, can I just, let me just show you how this binder that I bought you works and you have all the little tabs and you can just keep track of your size. We just have a little. And so this is like a battle every single day and then I was like, okay.

So when you talk about the river, that's, I constantly come back to the vision of the river. When I'm meditating or kind of in a moment of struggle, I try to go back to the river and remember that that is so hard for me to float the river and to let the river take you and not fight so hard. To control where you're going. And like trying to control where I'm going, but to be like, I can get back on the right path and I can flow through life. I don't have to fight so hard or control so much of it.

And so it's just trying to learn that balance and motherhood always gives me those challenges because I'm like, okay, you know what? We'll just try it your way. You be in charge of yourself, but every Friday I'm gonna check your grades and we're gonna just make sure they're okay. And then we'll see how the weekend goes after that. Or if we have to like scramble and turn in assignments on Friday or however that's gonna go.

So that's been a great lesson for me. And like the other thing that I've been working on as my reflecting back over the year and like what belief systems have I carried through the year that have been a detriment to me? Not just this year, my life. Or since being an adult and working. What are some things that have just kept me stuck and I've kept bumping up against?

And Samantha, do you remember Samantha? She's been doing some business coaching sessions with me. So she helped me, cause it's hard to do this on your own. I do healing work, I help people with their beliefs, but when it's yourself, you're blind to your own subconscious patterns or your own things. So it's always good to go find someone who can like work that out with you.

So we narrowed it down to a belief system I have that you can't make money doing what you love. That those two things are separate. In my mind, I think I've always separated them. I've always been like, you can go get a job that is stable and desirable and makes money or you can do in love, but you can't have both. And I mean, consciously, I've wanted that for a long time.

Like I've been wanting to do this business and work and even being an artist or doing art in some way in what I do for a living. I think I've always had this belief that like, artists don't make money. Artists don't actually, you know, I didn't go get a degree in art history, which we probably would have loved, because I was like, well then what? What do we do with that? Or people who have a really stable, well-paying job who did art history, they were just lucky.

Like they were so super lucky because those jobs don't come around very often and when people get them, they don't let go. You know, they, so I just thought, even as I went to college and chose what major I was getting, I was like, well, a teacher doesn't make a lot of money, but at least it's stable. People always need teachers. And I'm a good teacher. Like that was a good job for me, but why didn't I dare to dream or dare to find something that was more like risky or more aligned with like what I would have loved to do?

So that's kind of the, she has this thing that you go through where you say it out loud, where you say, I believe I cannot make money doing what I love. I forgive myself for believing that the old me believed that and now I believe this. And then you repeat it. I mean, it's like this whole script. You're supposed to say it out loud and you're supposed to like say it to someone else if you can.

And she's like, it's good to get emotional. I was like, I'm not gonna get emotional. The first time I read out loud to my husband, I was like, I can't even get through it. So you know it's powerful. You know it like it's a sticky cell in your body when you're working on that.

So it's good at the autumn Econocs to just kind of, just kind of take assessment on like, how did your year go? What are some things that you would have done different or work on or like going into the next phase of the year? What are your steps going into that? So I'd like to know, keeping an eye on the time. I'd like to know like going into winter, are you excited about winter coming up?

Or are you more like, oh, this is like a really hard time of year. I have to go into dark, cold. See, I've always kind of been a dark person. Not to say like evil darkness, right? But I've always enjoyed the dark.

And I don't think they go hand in hand, by the way. I think that's been a misconception and darkness has been demonized just like witches for a very long time. But I love that you say that, like I am a dark person. I love the dark. I love night.

I've always been a night person. I've never been a morning person. People will say good morning. I'm like, what? Those two words don't go together.

Good morning. Yeah, it's early for both of us here today. I don't know. It's not to say that I don't love the daylight and I don't love the sun, but I think there's something about the darkness that just brings out a part of me that feels a little bit more connected. So like when my kids were little and they were draining me all day long, right?

It's just like, that's just, all your energy is going towards the kids. They need to eat. They need to be entertained. They need all of these things. And that's just part of motherhood.

I'm not complaining. I'm just saying that's the phase of life that I was in. After getting them to bed, I would stay up for like two to three hours and have my time. Whatever show I wanted to watch or whatever it was, that's when I would have my time and I would pay for it the next day because I'd only get like four hours sleep before they were up and ready to go for the day. But I think that's just always been my cycle because I just love being in the dark.

I love the dark. So these months, I feel like I kind of thrive a little bit more. I liked the cooler weather. I feel a little bit like I'd rather layer than try and figure out how to cool myself off, right? Like, I don't know.

It's interesting because I appreciate both, but I feel like I'm more drawn to and I feel more comfortable in those darker, cooler months. So I'm actually very excited because I feel like there's so many things happening right now that I'm looking forward to, right? So when we get the space, when they turn it over to us October 1st, we have three months to create the space before the first month's rent is due. So when timing works out this way, we get it October 1st, our opening day would be January 1st. Oh.

So that's like starting the new year with a new space with... All the things. And I'm actually super, super excited. It would be amazing. And time to hype it up and be like, this is coming, get ready for this.

So we have all that time here in this space during the holidays when we get more people to be like, we're opening a new space, we're moving, come check us out. So we have a way to get people to understand, hey, we're not gonna be here after the new year. So come check us out because it's not just gonna be crystals. And we're creating a space where people can experience so many different opportunities for healing, for spirituality, for connection. And I'm just like, I'm so, so excited.

I don't know exactly what that looks like, but I don't have to. It's gonna come together the way it's meant to. So I'm just, yeah. I'm excited. I know the talks among people like us, especially because we live in an area where, I mean, we have access to really cool places that are kind of, you have to travel a bit to get to them.

And it's always kind of like just finding a place to find people like us, people who speak this language, who, you know, when you say, I talk to trees or something like that, they don't look at you like, oh, God. You're okay, weirdo. Weirdo. Talk to trees, sure you did. But like, you can say, I talk to the trees and they go, yeah, me too, I totally know what you mean.

That's a thing. And just a gathering space, just to have that connection space to be like, we've got classes, we've got, you know, and it's very welcoming. And I think that's the thing that's most exciting. Yeah, for sure. There's a lot of exciting things about it, but that sense of community is what I'm looking forward to the most, is this space has been great.

And I am so, so grateful to have had this to start out, but I always knew this wasn't gonna be a long term, just because it's so small. It's not a space where I can expand into everything that I wanna do. So it was more of just like, I knew it was temporary. So I'm... And that's actually perfect for winter too, when you think about the themes of like, yule time and the time that you'll be opening and things like that will be community centered.

It's a lot of community gathering. Like our ancestors did wassailing and going around from place to place, singing songs and giving gifts. And that's not just like Christmas, but like all of yule tide was like that. So that gathering space in that community, that's why there's a lot of feasting, getting together. Because what do you do otherwise?

I mean, think about before technology, before light bulbs, before anything, you're like sitting at home alone in the dark. That would be depressing. So no. You gotta find ways to get out and connect with people. So yeah.

Get out and connect. I feel like... Face to face, like in person with people. I feel like this is where I've been guided. And I feel like I have been guided this whole journey of when I decided, okay, I know that this space is only gonna serve me for so long.

So let's start looking to see what's out there for me to move into. And then the disappointment of this space was too much. This space was too small. This space already got rented out. All the things that I went through and being able to shed that and just saying, okay, that wasn't meant for me.

Okay, next, next, next. And just being able to be resilient in all of that. And then for this one to present itself the way that it has, it's just, yeah. It's all coming to fruition. Like it's all coming.

Which again, like autumn, the things that we have planted, the seeds we planted, we nurtured, we watered, we watched all summer. And now should be ready to harvest. It should be like those ideas came to fruition and now what did it, what did came of it. Sometimes unexpected things. I have pumpkins in my garden right now and nobody remembers planting them.

It's very possible that if you had them before the seeds will, they just, yeah. They do. They do. It's amazing. I think we might've gotten some starts from someone we planted, we didn't know what they were.

I'm not sure what happened. I'm not in charge of the garden. It's my husband's area of, I just go out and tend. I go out and talk to them and give them coffee grounds and love on them and pick things. And then I go, okay, that's all I do, bye.

But yeah, we were just kind of surprised to see pumpkins. And I was like, you know what? What a perfect example for like that abundance, that feeling of like, wow, I didn't even expect that but I'm so grateful for it. Look, it's there. It's here, it came to me.

It's part of the work I put in to a plant that turned out to be pumpkins, I guess. There you go. So they're here now. And I, for one, I do get excited and I start to, years ago I started to intentionally change my routine when the autumn equinox comes up and when we start to go into Samhain, which is gonna be November 1st. So I'm kind of making plans already.

By November 1st, I want to like have cut down my hours. It's nice because my kids' school, I have like this range of time I can drop them off in the morning. So rather than being like, okay, I drop them off at seven, I go work out at 7.30, I start my day at 8.30, like this is what my day looks like. I can push all of that back. I can drop them off at 8.30, almost right around nine.

They can start school. I can go work out at 9.30. I can start my day at 11. Like I have, it all shrinks down to the daylight hours and hopefully feel a little more restful and less hurried and rushed because as much as I feel like a lot of energy went into things that I tried to do this summer and I felt discouraged at times where I'm like, gosh, I worked so hard on this, but nothing came of it. I feel that a lot.

I still get to reward myself with, you know what? You worked really hard though. Like the hours you put in and the, so it's time to pull back, rest, let the darkness be the guide of like, as the night creeps in to our daylight hours, we just start to like take more off of our plate. And now that will be like evenings of gathering with friends would be fine. Can do that in the evenings or go to bed early or cozy up on the couch with a book or movie.

Like that's all I need from this time period. I don't need to be rushing around. I don't need to fill my calendar full of events and things that I'm hosting and doing and all that. Yeah, well then that will prepare you for when the new space opens and you can be part of the events and things like that. So I'm so excited.

Birth of that in the spring and like as the new things start coming up. Oh my gosh, I'm so excited. I'm excited, yeah, it's gonna be great. So I actually wanted to talk about the crystals since we're kind of talking about this time of like transformation. And I think it's actually works out really perfect because Peter site, not a lot of people are familiar with Peter site.

It's actually like a form of tiger's eye. It's just a little bit higher grade. So you can see like the stuff in it. Oh my gosh, but I hope the camera can pick this up cause it's really. The three like top healing properties is protection, power and transformation.

So Peter site is a powerful transformative crystal that dispels negative energy, emotional turmoil and self-imposed limitations. It stimulates the third eye and solar plexus chakras to enhance willpower, intuition and mental clarity, often aiding in deep subconscious healing and rapid personal transformation. So I feel like that's where we are right now. We're moving from at least for me in my journey with this business is that's where I'm at. Is like, I need to believe that I'm on the right path, that trusting this process and understanding the trajectory that I'm on and Peter site will help me stay in that mindset.

So I think it's a great and it was perfect crystal. It's perfect. It's perfect for what we talked about. Even as I was reading about the third eye and solar plexus chakras to be able to put those together. You think about the reflecting back on the year, your self-esteem, your self worth, your empowerment in the solar plexus, but it's also that third eye like.

Trusting. Reflecting back and yeah. Trusting that what is available to you is actually available to you. You can reach out and receive that. I've always struggled in feeling worthy of receiving those things.

So I do also like that the solar plexus because I have done so much work on healing my inner child over the last year that I feel like she's finally able to rest, right? She's finally able to say, okay, I don't want you to be in the driver's seat and I can feel safe in sitting back. I don't have to push you forward anymore. That she's there, she's still healing, but I've done so much work that I feel like, okay, now you get to sit and be in comfort and allow me to make the decisions going forward. So I've done a lot of inner work in that, which is then opened my third eye and saying, okay, she was blocking.

My inner child was blocking my third eye so heavily that I didn't even realize that she was like, you can't have that. You're not worthy of that. You can't have that. We need to live in fear, blah, blah, blah. So now that we've toned that down, I'm not gonna say it's gone, it's been toned down, that now I can open that third eye and I can go, oh, wow, this is really, really cool.

There, yeah, what has all been? And I think that last eclipse moon last month that we had, there was a lot of intuition opening at that time. I felt really strong, stronger than normal sensations, like, oh, whoa, I feel things like I've never felt before. And that may be it too, awakening something in that. But I love that it always seems to me when I do inner child energy sessions, like it's like your adult self going, shh, it's okay.

Like to your child, you know, the one that's like, no, no, no, this isn't safe. We can't do this, don't do that. You're like, shh, it's okay, I've got you. I'm here, I'm the adult and I'm safe and everything's gonna be safe. But as you said that, it came back to the card.

I was like, that's the fawn. Oh, that's the inner child. Oh my gosh. That makes total sense. I'm blown away.

I was like, oh, we're talking about inner child. So she's like calming and quiet and like it's time for you to rest. It's time for us to let the adult self come into fruition, like come to our fruition of our adult self. Whoa, so cool, I love it. Love that.

See, that's the thing is like, pick a card, we don't know what we're gonna get. I know, I was like, there's more to this fawn. Every time we've done it, every time we've done this together, we pull a card, we talk about a crystal because she sent me the information, you sent me the information what we were gonna talk about. And me, I was just, I feel like my brain was in chaos for the last 10 days. You just got back.

Yeah, and like trying to focus in on anything, like everything kind of got the surface of my attention. So I was like, okay, cool, whatever. But like I was reflecting on it as I was getting ready this morning and I was like, I feel like maybe Labradorite. But I know we've talked about Labradorite and it is a really great one. And then all of a sudden, Peter Sight was like, hello.

Hi. Yeah, I love that it's called Peter Sight. And I think it's really a Peter, a Peter Pan. Yeah. But I remember like we're getting ready and I was like, I think I wanna do Peter Sight.

I don't know if it's gonna fit. Like here, look at the card and see what you think. And it was just like, we're just trusting that all the things that are gonna come out, that we're gonna talk about. And it's so amazing. I'm not gonna say it's crazy.

I'm not gonna say it's weird. I'm not gonna say anything other than it's just amazing that it does, it lines up. Oh, it never ceases to amaze me. And you're like, I don't know what the fun is. I don't know what that is.

But then all of a sudden we're like, oh. But I said, I need to come back to that because I do feel like that's something that as soon as you start talking. That's so cool. Okay. Well, any announcements?

We'll get to our things. Our things that are us. English is happening in my brain right now. Words are hard. I will say as a report for those who were following our Practical Magic 2 Contest, so we did over the last couple of weeks.

We have a lot of brand new followers thanks to the contest. So thank you for following. Even though people were from all over and didn't necessarily get to come to the event, they are now following the podcast and we're happy to have you. The event went great. Love and Light Reiki, Lori Ann Brown, who is a Reiki master that taught me, she did this client appreciation event for her clients.

And so the theater was filled. She rented the theater, gave the tickets to her clients, and then we sponsored just a handful of tickets for people who won the contest. And so we had a great turnout. It was awesome. The movie, Practical Magic 2, was fantastic.

I do think there were some parts in it that I was like, okay. Really? A little cheesy for my taste. But I mean, just the aesthetic of the movie alone is so powerful for so many people like us that just grew up going, that's me. When we saw the first original movie in the nine dices, it just felt like that is me.

That feels like what I would, how I wanna live my life. That feels like magic. That feels like an awakening of some kind. And so I think this movie was a great throwback to all of that. So we had a super fun, good time.

We were just right here actually, right behind the camera at the theater. So we danced like witches out here on the front thing. And I was like, everybody go to Rising with Minerals and check out the crystals when you have time. So that's just an announcement or update for me. And Prism Healing is going to be offering some really cool new classes that I'm gonna be putting out there in October.

But the big announcement, because I couldn't put those classes out just yet, was that my new website is gonna be out. So my abundant fruition harvest season thing is this website that we've tirelessly worked on for over a year, I feel like all summer. We've had the teaser website that's been out all summer and that's been fantastic. It's a great website. But the website that's actually mine that I'm going to be releasing is gonna be out probably by the end of this week.

So it'll already be out by the time this podcast is coming out. So please go to prism-healing.com and please go on your laptop or your desktop computer because the mobile version's just like, it's okay but it's not like dazzling. Go on there and then just like turn your sound on and sit back. And I think you're gonna have an amazing experience that feels like going into the Practical Magic 2 movie. That aesthetic, it's gonna be amazing.

So those are my announcements. Do you have anything you wanna share and how they can find you? I feel like I've been talking about my announcements throughout the whole thing, right? Get ready for this. So my big things are gonna be over the next three to four months.

But yeah, I feel like all the things I've been focusing on this year to grow my business and to move my shop and all those things are happening. They're lining out and I'm super, super excited. So you can find me anywhere, really, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook. I don't really know but just look for Rising Moon Minerals for those old people like us that are on Facebook. I know, like search bar.

I don't have a lot of followers on Facebook but it's all interconnected with Instagram, so whatever. But Instagram is rising underscore moon underscore minerals and TikTok is rising dot moon dot minerals. Oh. I do put a lot of information out there. I announce a crystal the week every week so we talk about the healing properties and then later in the week I put a video out about how to be intentional with those crystals.

I also send emails so you can always subscribe. Find me on risingmoonminerals.com and you can subscribe to these emails. You can also shop all the crystals and send me a message if there's something that you're looking for. I'd love to help you find the crystal that would support the phase of life that you're in right now. Yep, super great to go online and order what you need and that's what I always send my clients to.

When we're done with a session, I will muscle test what crystal feels like the best one to support them and send them on their way to go get one at Rising Moon Minerals. Soon enough, you'll be able to just send them out of the room. Just out the room and go, now you go purchase in the front office. Thank you very much. So I think that's it for us today.

Thank you so much for joining us and I have some great guests lined up for the next few episodes, so stay tuned for that and we'll see you next time. Go make magic, witches and wizards.
