Men’s Aesthetic Medicine: Botox, Testosterone & BBL Explained
Men's Aesthetic Medicine: Botox, Testosterone & BBL Explained
In This Episode
Men walk into aesthetic medicine clinics thinking they know what happens there. They don't. This episode strips away the mystery around what men actually come in for — and it's not what you think.
Celeste breaks down the clinical reality: testosterone replacement, peptides, weight loss medication, and Botox for the glabella lines that make you look perpetually angry at your job. But the conversation goes deeper. She explains rosacea through thermal imaging, walks through how broadband light (BBL) actually works on inflammatory skin conditions, and addresses the elephant in the room — why men feel like aesthetic medicine is gatekept territory.
There's real talk about confidence as the most attractive trait regardless of gender, why men don't notice what women think they notice, and how a simple wrinkle-smoothing treatment changes the way someone takes up space in a room. The episode also covers lip filler for men with beards, acne scarring treatments, and the peptide stack conversation that deserves its own episode.
Blane gets scanned with a 3D imaging device, gets called out for his rosacea pattern, and discovers his digital twin. Whitney asks the questions the audience would ask. Celeste answers with the authority of someone who trains national injectors.
This is aesthetic medicine without the marketing gloss.

I'm Whitney and I'm here with Celeste, nurse practitioner and owner of Inspire Medical Spa and Blane, our podcast guy. Yeah, I like that. I'll take that. Yeah, take it. Yeah.
He's like, okay. We call lots of stuff, but some worse, some more, much more. Next time I need to have like this title that's like a whole paragraph of stuff that you got to read off. I call him Blizzard. I don't know why, but I think it suits you.
Blizzard, Blisane. Blisane works. Yeah. And he offered to let us chat with him about a medical spa. Right?
Yeah. So some of the stuff that we get asked is the best by men. It's the most fun because I think it's a land that they're a tourist. Big tongue. They like walk by and then they sometimes like make recommendations on how to change our flag or Yeah, I could see that, but I love the aesthetic out here.
We got to get some out on film too. Yeah, it's fun. It's a fun spot. So I think that it's a good opportunity for a man to come in and say what they think about it or like what their expectations of or what's going on in the building. Well, I mean, I'll just get right to it.
Like how many, I'm just going to say how many inches extra am I getting on this penis enlargement? Because is that what we do at a med spa? Yeah, some men do that, but definitely not here. Oh, okay. I didn't know.
It's not that type of place. No, you don't get extra wiener here. You just get smooth. Oh, yeah. Smooth wiener.
Smooth wiener? We talk about, you could do scrotox, but that's also not always the thing people are looking for, right? Scrotox does not sound fun at all to me. I don't even know what that is, but I can tell you right now, not something I'm going to sign up for, for a Tuesday. Yeah, you're not interested in that one.
No, no. But so what do you do? I know you got Botox and stuff like that. Where does that come into play for a man? For a man?
Yeah. Actually, a lot of men really love Botox. The hardest part is men hit something called andropause or their testosterone goes down. Yeah. When your testosterone goes down, your mood, energy, lean muscle mass, skin changes.
Most people are most concerned with their sex drive and wiener. Oh, see there you go. Definitely not always the concern. So when we do Botox for men, a lot of them like it right in the central part of their head in their glabella lines. Okay.
Or right between their brows, their 11s, so that they don't look angry, they say, because they're concentrating at their job. Rest RBF. There you go. Is that what the RBF is? I think it's RDF, resting dick face.
Oh my God, I love it. Is that trademarked? If it's not, we're gonna. We should probably, right? Yeah, we'll edit that part out and trademark it and then we'll put it up.
Yeah. We got it though. Yeah, let's do it. It's not gonna get edited out. I'm too lazy to shut that part out, but I do love that.
But we'll trademark it. Have you heard that before? No. Resting douche face. Oh, we can get away with that one.
Yeah, a lot of men are super concerned about their wrinkles around their eyes and or like looking angry or. What about migraines? I hear about it for migraines. I got a bunch of those. Migraines are fantastic.
That's a therapeutic use. So Botox has 16 indications and four of them are for aesthetic. The rest are what we call therapeutic and that means that they're using them in like neurology for your migraines, for dysphonia when people have a wiggly voice if they're older, right? Wiggly voice. Well, it's nerve damage to their vocal cords.
From what, like smoking and stuff? No, more like changes with strokes. That can be one. Yeah. Yeah, like there's different changes to the brain when people have a stroke or had a heart attack, an anoxic event, things like that can change it.
So it works pretty good. I like that. I didn't know all that about Botox and it sounds like there's a whole lot more. That's just the tip. Yeah, they use.
I see everybody laughing. See where our minds are. See what's happening here. I set it off though. I put that into action by having that off the top with the penis enlargement thing.
I know they don't do that here. Okay. I think that's what people think though. But they do. Yeah, they do.
Men. Yeah, they do. I think I don't think that men get what a med spot. I don't. I've known you for how long?
Yeah, a couple years. I've been in here quite a few times and still don't know fully. You were just telling me about this top secret thing. I don't know if we want to talk about that laser. Oh yeah, that's new.
That's actually really cool. A lot of men do lasers here too. Yeah. So I think if we do it in order of popularity, they first come in for testosterone to help fill better. They'll do peptides, weight loss, and then they'll see other men and they'll be like, what does he do?
And you're like, I can't. And then they'll be in the lobby and they'll be like, what are you doing? Yeah. Yeah. There's a lot of crosstalk.
They're like, what's happening? What are you doing here? It is taboo for men to talk about their testosterone. I've been on TRT. Yeah.
Come at me. I don't care. I think it's more popular right now because people are realizing how long they're living and that they want to feel well the whole time they are alive. I didn't care what it took to make me feel better. I go to the doctor and they test me and they do all these blood tests and he comes back and he's like, you've got the T levels of an 80 year old man.
I'm like, well, no wonder I feel like that. Right? I need my energy back. Yeah. And it was crazy once I got that level back to normal because I was like, oh my God, I don't have to literally No, you don't have to feel this.
Feel like that. I didn't want to get out of bed. And it was just I'm thinking this is really what it feels like when you're 30 something. Yeah. He's like, it can't be.
Yeah. But no, I get, yeah. So that's your number one. Yeah. That's where they first come and usually they're enrolled by one of their spouse, their wife's like, come on, it's time.
It is time. Yeah. So that's where I think they first start and Botox. We see them come for both reasons. And we treat a lot of men with acne scarring with some of the laser devices that we're using.
And it really helps with texture and it's different type of maintenance. And then, then they're like, oh, maybe I will use one product on my face. It takes them a long time to stop using the soap from their face to their butt and their butts, their face, their face soap and turning it into maybe like using a few more. That's crazy to me. Yeah.
Cause you'll see, I even have a face towel and a butt towel. Like that's, that's how far mine goes. Do you wear sunscreen, Blane? I do. I do.
Not as much. Did you wear it today? No, I did not. You see me, I got a farmer's tan right here from being out the other day. What do you put on your face?
I didn't put anything on the other day. Yeah. But at least you wear a hat. That's, I always keep a hat on. Yeah.
That can help. That just for like being attractive. But what about like cancer? I got way, and this is an awful excuse, but I got way worse wearing sunscreen when we had to start putting on the kids so much. Cause I was more worried about them and I'm like, whatever, whatever.
I don't have time. Yeah. And that's the worst way to think, but. Your oxygen mask first, Blane. I know.
I know. I know. Yeah. Um, those are the type of things that men come in for, but we do a lot of different things. So we did this fun scan today.
Yeah. We've had this picture up in the back forever. So if you're still around watching this and this was up the whole time, I got a whole bunch of horror movies. I love, and I'll talk to you about, because this was scary enough. Okay.
It's pretty fascinating. So this is one way that we both can be accountable, right? So when we recommend a treatment, we're basing it upon realistic goals and measurements that we can achieve together. So we look at kind of your measurements and ratios and a lot of times men will have a larger one, especially when they have a beard in the lower third of their face. When we look and we can see and turn and check out the angles, these are like some of the things that they're asking when they're talking about cheeks.
When people start to say emotions tied with the way they look, right? So a lot of times people will be like, I feel like I look tired. I feel like I look angry. I feel like, um, people are always asking me if I'm mad, you know, or if I got enough sleep. So these are the type of things that we're sitting and taking people through to, to make sure that when they're requesting a change, that we can achieve the goal.
So when we start to get into the three, two to three range is when we start to say, okay, these are interventions we can start to take. So this is a really good way to start to talk to men about, you know, wrinkles on their forehead. And sometimes it's about what people's concern is and treating the cause, right? Yeah. So for this, you know, it's just dynamic movement of muscles.
When your muscles move, this happens. So this is going to help with our patients that are like showing scarring and topographical change. So elevation texture, things like that. That's crazy. Look at that.
It's pretty neat, right? They call it your digital twin. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Yeah. I didn't know I was getting cloned when I came in here today.
Yeah. And then we'll mail it to you. Okay. Yeah. I like that one with the green.
Yeah. Cause I'm that's the next Marvel thing. This is it right here. I like the little wits. Look at those hairs.
Look at those, man. That's intense. He's the most excited person that's ever gotten. Oh, that is why I'm right there. No, I love it.
I like this one the most. Look at that. Yeah. That's some rosacea. That's just some, some weathered aging.
That's no sunblock. And your mom or your dad gave you this. It's an inflammatory disease that makes your face have redness. Look at that dilated capillaries. Yeah.
So the little vessels are battle pain. So this is a cool one that we do a lot for men too. It's called broadband light or BBL. And it's not for your butt blade, not your butt. Okay.
I hear B thinking, yeah. Okay. Next adventure. So this is the top BBL. Oh, did it catch my, my next scar?
Like this one right here? I got one bad one right here. Yeah. It's kind of not right through here. Yeah.
See, it's just not inflamed. Oh yeah. See, he did a good job of doing that. Yeah. That's a good surgery.
I taught him on one of that scar though. He's like, I need something cool. So I get points for being strong. And this talks about kind of pores. So this helps us.
I found one that we could do for you. Okay. Let's do this one in case you were, we could do your lips right here. Now look at that. It's kind of weird with your mustache, right?
It is. Look at that. That's kind of super weird with your mustache. Now we could make this a talking face too, Hello. Hello.
I'll miss you. Like an old adult swim cartoon or something, you know? Do men get much lip filler? Yes. Men get lip filler all the time, especially when they have mustaches or beards.
And everyone's going to ask, is it a gay man? No, both. Everybody that has lips likes lip filler, right? They love it to peek through their mustache, especially if they have bigger mustaches or beards. A lot of men really like their lips done.
So I could see that. Oh, look at Whitney. She's like, she's trying to picture me with the lips. You've got some good lips. You can do a lot.
It's a good adventure. So that's kind of how we start with a consultation to make sure that people are, we're kind of on the same page with what someone sees. Cause some people be like, look, do you notice this? And I'm like, um, no. Or I'm like, yes, I can see that your texture, your pores, I can see what you're talking about.
So it gives us a good starting point of what direction we want to go. I love that. So pretty neat. That's the consultation. Yeah, that's kind of, it's more in depth.
We'll do another part that's just for skin. And this will show like 3d changes to this skin stuff. I feel like it's pretty good, but I really, like a couple of the other ones where it'll show if someone has like melasma or spots. And our other device shows UV damage. So we can show you how much of the sunblock is affecting and what you were doing when you were little, right?
The sunblock days of joy when you're just frolicking about getting pure UV ray right straight to the face. You remember that back then, like not only that, the kids were running around. We had the blow up pools. They were magnifying glasses. Yeah.
Ancest pools by the end of the day. Cause it was soup. Oh yeah. And then you look over there, you got your mom laying out in the yard and she's got a knife with butter. Just, Oh yeah.
That's basically putting butter on them. So like, that's how it was. Yeah. I lived in the family of redheads. So they were wearing sunblock and they would have like the long sleeve shirts.
They would wear socks with their, they wore socks with their sandals. That's how redheaded my family was. So I didn't ever see the butter situation. I just saw the zinc, the nose that disappeared into the white goo. Yeah.
I could see that. So what happens after this? Let me be the man now. Let me, let me, let me show you what a man would do. Oh, so now this is where you go and you upsell me and give me a whole bunch of stuff and do this and that.
Yeah, that's exactly right. What will it take to get you to take this car home today? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
You can take this car home and it will have a warranty for two years. Oh yeah. Like that. Um, honestly, what we say is we have somebody kind of assess what their concerns are. So like for you, if you were to look at this, when you look at your face and your skin, what is your primary concern?
Okay. And if you're like, nothing, I really don't care. Then we're saying, well, it was nice to meet you. What about your, we talk about like, I feel like when I look at your face, this is one of my primary concerns. Yeah, that'd be a concern of mine.
I mean, I can't, that can't, and you've shown me everything else and it looks, it looks pretty good. Like this is scientific to me. This isn't some. Yeah. This isn't an opinion, right?
Yeah. When we get into the clinical part of our opinion is this is an inflammatory disease right here that you would want to treat. Yeah. Yeah. Because this gets worse with sun exposure.
This gets worse with hot foods, with alcohol. It gets worse and it gets worse over time. So you'll see the, some of the older men that they'll have the broken little vessels on their cheeks. That's the, where you're going. And you already have that on your nose in certain spots.
The other thing is there's another version of this where the nose can grow. So sometimes we see older men where their nose is super enlarged, rhinofioma or rhinofioma, and it's where they have it primarily in their nose and it starts to be overactive and inflammatory. So we can treat this with broadband light, your BBL for your face. There you go. Okay.
And it will help it go away. And then there's topical products that we will put on it that will constrict the capillaries to reduce the inflammatory response. So I would say like broadband light also is really specific to turning off the aging genes. So it changes your skin quality over time and it's not super invasive or very painful because sometimes with, with men, there's tough in different ways. Everyone takes the time to make fun of men about man colds, but there's not one time I've ever wanted to build a road.
I'm not tough enough to build a road or a house or go to war so I can handle somebody's man cold. But this one, as far as the being able to tolerate it, it's pretty, it's pretty moderate, like to moderate for most men, they can tolerate it really well. So I would say there's a little in your texture, but if it's not something we, we tend not to create, like to create a problem that doesn't exist. If you're like, wow, I don't really care. Save that last one for when they get ready for my statue.
Cause it looked pretty close to how you want to be. Did you see it? I like that. And where would we put this statue? Is this going in Tennessee?
No, no, no, no. Whoa, watch yourself there. Not going in my hometown. Very good. Is this going here?
I don't know where we're going to put that yet. Yeah. Front yard, bathroom. Now you're talking. Bathroom.
I like that. That's for my statue belongs. This one. A bathroom. There you go.
Yeah. We'll start with that. But it needs a Greek name. Yeah. Yeah.
Blenosius. Blenosius or something like that. Aurelius. Aurelius. Yes, yes, yes.
I love that. Blenus Aurelius. I love that. I love that. What else can men get at this med So the other thing that a lot of men do here are going to be a GLP one.
So weight loss medication. Yeah. It really, really helps with inflammation actually, because it changes what's in your blood. Right? It's going to delay your stomach from emptying.
Okay. And it slows your whole system. So it tells the posterior part of your brain that you're full. And when that happens, it's changing how long the food is in your stomach and the way triglycerides, those are fats that are coming from sweets and breads and pastas. Oh yeah, yeah.
The best fat. My midnight snacks. Yeah. Raka Oreos at two in the morning. Yeah.
So it's changing people's signal to the posterior part of their brain that says they want it. Right? So it changes the way your body is craving sugar. And then for a lot of men, once we get them to a certain weight range, they're looking for a lot more, it's between that and testosterone. Right?
So then they're like, okay. And then they're like, what if I stack some peptides? Oh yeah, yeah. What about my muscles? That's the trigger word out there right now.
Peptide this, peptide that. What is a peptide? It's a complex protein chain that initiates an action in the body. It's usually turning on. So it's like, we have GLP-1 receptors because triseptide and semi-glutide are peptides.
Right? I don't think most people know that. Do you? I feel like they are like, what? That's crazy.
I don't know if I, I mean, I asked, I didn't know any of this. Yeah. So if you have a light switch in your body, like that light switch is on, but there's a dimmer switch over time. So as you get older, it dims and turns off. That's for sure.
So a lot of peptides are reactivating a pathway that's being quieted with age or breaking down of a system. So if like the, the muscle ones, sometimes I don't want to get into each one because then people are like, oh, I should stack those. Yeah. Peptides probably have to be their own episode, I would say. All right.
But you, I don't need to know more than that. I'm just asking Yeah. NAD, NAD is a really common one. BP for the muscles. It just depends.
CJC, samoralin, HCG, people use those. Look at this. Yeah. A lot of different fun ones, but definitely men are doing Botox, lasers, peptides, testosterone, and weight loss. I would say for men and women, a lot, a lot of men that are, and it depends if they're looking for a more defined job.
We do a lot of filler and jawlines for men. What's a filler? Is that the Botox too? It is a gel that mimics bone or fat or tissue to kind of project. Right.
So when you see the ladies, yeah, exactly. It fills a void or it defines a new adventure for someone's job. And then we also have patients that transition or that are androgynous. So they'll kind of pick areas that they want to treat. They're like, Ooh, I want some lady lips, but I like a masculine jawline.
So we do that a lot too. Yeah. Okay. It's kind of fun. This is, yeah, I like that.
I like that there's more options. Yeah. What's the age range? Cause like, is this mostly a bunch of old dudes coming in here or is this like? I would say the age range for testosterone is going to be late 30s.
Starting from late 30s all the way upwards of 60. I think some of our patients touched on the late 60s for testosterone specifically and peptide same range. And you've got a lot of men that come into your play. We're not necessarily trying to get more into here. No, we want more education.
Yeah. We want to teach people more about how men consume aesthetics or understanding it. Cause I think it's something that they really are interested in, but they think that there's limitations or specific rules on how you use it. Yeah. I think so.
There's been a gate keeper of some sort. I think it's our culture, right? It's the gender and it's the culture and the gender is the gatekeeper. Yeah. I feel like for both men and women, there's the tether to women, to aesthetics.
Yeah. And there's the restriction of men because it's a female land. They're like, that's not our land. It's kind of like a woman doesn't feel comfortable going into a barber shop. Doesn't feel like their place, you know, but you can go in there just as much and get you lined up or fade or whatever you want.
Yeah. Whenever you have sons, then you end up in barber shops. There you go. You're like, I don't care. Plus I don't know if women have that restriction as much because we get to wear your clothes.
There's not as many rules as far as how we want to take up space that way. I don't think. Oh, well, that's a whole other episode too. Yeah, that's a different one. I can get into it.
He's like, yeah. I'm like, barber shop, I would go into. Get me in here. I'll get on my soap box and start yelling about how, wait, clothes don't have a gender regardless, you know? Yeah.
Like, doesn't matter. Like, colors don't have a gender and this kind of thing. I feel like it's going away so much like with my kids. Yeah. I don't, there's not, I don't.
I see a lot of guys having their nails painted now. I think my kids got them painted. I got two boys. I got their painted. Their nails are painted right now.
Yeah. Nobody cares. Nobody cares. I know. I'm sure there are some people, but I really.
You know what I do? There are people who care and I love when they point themselves up because that's the I just think it's actually funny. It's very interesting to see people's level of comfort with anything. You know, my son has long hair and he'll paint his nails when his sister wants it. For his pictures at school, he had eyeliner and everyone was like, what are you doing?
He was like, my sister did my eyeliner and I liked it from my pictures. So. So what? Well, what did it mean who like back in the day that were the pretty ones wearing makeup? Yeah.
You know what they wore the wigs and all that. The high heels, the makeup. Yeah. Yeah. But also in like the animal kingdom, right?
Like every bird, the man is the fancy one. Yeah. I don't know. We should transition back to that. I would love to not wear a bra every day and get away with it.
He's so nice. Yeah. Or makeup or. And then everyone's like, well, you don't have to. And you're like, well, you're right.
I'll scare them. That's a hard society. You'll scare the children. Is that what she said? Being able to say in an individual situation and not looking at it as a whole.
Yeah. Is a whole lot different. That's like me saying, oh, you don't have to wear makeup, but everybody else in the society and this and that says you do. Especially if you live in California. California too.
You're from California. Yeah. Can't you tell by your accent? Yeah. Or you live there a long time.
I do. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And if you're in Northern California, the aesthetic is drastically different than LA or San Diego.
Even San Diego is different than LA. Yeah. You go to Newport and you're like, oh my goodness, I need better everything to park next to this Bentley. Yeah. Yeah.
Trader Joe. Yeah. Yeah. I don't think that. I just think it's like the.
I also like the land speaks through like the people. Right. So you're in a place where people like hike and work out all the time. And then you go to other places where they're like, we live inside and it's too hot to be outside. Or you go to all of Brazil where people are mostly naked on a beach.
Yeah, it's true. I think, I think a lot of people think, oh, in LA that you do live on top of each other. In New York that you are cooped up. No. Like I walked and was hiking and was doing more.
Yeah. But it was just because I was living. So we were, you adapt to where you're living at. Yeah. It changes all of it.
Changes your body. Yeah. The aesthetic speaks through the culture. Yeah. I like that.
And our culture is really evolving because of social media. Right. So people adapt. We're evolving because of social media. I don't know.
I think we're going back. No, no, no, no. But yeah, I feel like there's evolutions of it though, because our school, like people's ability to get education online changed drastically. Yeah. So there's pros and cons, but people are always like, this is a horrible world we're creating.
But there's some good stuff too. There's good stuff in there. Yeah. There's also pretty like great people. Yeah.
You still meet pretty great people. Yeah. Just, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
We can go, we can stay off of that because that's a whole. Yeah. We got eight episodes out of one right here because we can get a whole bunch. He's like, I'm the pep died. I was like, oh, that's a big fucking lot.
I didn't even have to be on all the episodes. I just gave you ideas to keep rolling. Yeah. Yeah. I liked it.
What else do we want to talk about about man talks? Man talks. Well, I'm curious from like a man's perspective. Like what do you find attractive like in a woman physically? That is a pregnant question.
Because I'm speaking for all men now. Yikes. That's a bad one. Long walks on the beach and personality and this and that. And you want a physical?
I don't know. That could be. What do you know? Like I don't even notice. My wife, her eyes was the first thing I did notice on her.
I've told her that. I said that she's got beautiful eyes. I'm like, I know there's not much you can do on that, but to change it. Or is there? Honestly, you can put all sorts of things in eyes, but I love, I love eyes.
Yeah. Yeah. I like how much they, I don't know, they draw you in. Some people's eyes you're like, oh. There's a local DJ here.
I say local. It's a play. Cascade. Oh, I don't know. Eyes are the window to the soul.
Like they really are. So notice how he didn't say like long eyelashes and contoured cheeks. Like these guys don't even like notice this. I don't. I, that's bullshit.
Wee. That's so much bullshit because I don't think Beyonce's super famous because of her eyes. It's her whole. Yeah. She got it.
She has confidence, a persona, but also Kim Kardashian didn't get famous because of her eyes. So we're, that's some bullshit. Well, what I'm getting at is it seems like men are very simple. We are. We don't care.
I'm going to tell you right now, I can't speak for a whole lot of men, not all ever, but I can speak for a whole lot of us and say that you guys put a whole lot more pressure on yourselves than we ever do. We don't care. That's so fascinating. Even the most, not me, even the most douchey guys that you know, everybody knows a couple. Yeah.
They don't care either because they're in that boat of, oh, I just got to get laid. I don't care. I don't care what you look like, but there's real, but men really, we don't care when I'm working, when I'm at work. I don't care. I don't give a fuck what you look like.
You can wear it because I'm coming in. I'm in a different business too. I get it. And in radio, I didn't care if we all came in our pajamas and I wasn't looking at somebody. It wasn't like that at all.
I never thought about it, you know, but I get, I guess if we talk about that and the way brains develop in the visual cortex of the brain. Yeah, right. Like that's just, I get that too. I can see where you think. I can see where I love how it's like a race with ourselves.
And we're the only ones bracing and you guys set up this race for yourselves. And that's why bras are and that's why corsets are. And that's why there's laundry. There's a difference between when I come in pajamas, which I'm in right now. And when I come in, in like a red dress with my hair down, like I will like, you can notice the difference.
Of course I'm maybe like prepped up a little bit, but I get more compliments when I look more feminine versus, you know, my everyday look. So they, you guys do notice, you just maybe don't. Don't say anything or don't. I feel like it's a political, like it's a fire. I don't think it's something you can answer.
Also, you're married. You're not going to be like, well, I really love legs and boobs. My favorite thing is cleavage, but also what about a butt? Like, whatever, that's such bullshit. But it's like a pregnant question.
Like it's so full of doom to answer that. Right. Because there's all preferences. There's some people that are saying like, I can't speak for everybody. But I do speak for, seriously, I do speak for a lot to say that at least on the top, maybe subconsciously, yes, we're still looking for whatever, but I don't think we care.
We don't care. I would rather leave the house an hour earlier than to speak for all. But yeah. And I think we do it a lot for us. That's true too.
And that's perfect. Hey, take that hour if it's for you. You know, I don't like wearing makeup every day, but I love my makeup collection and I love my pretty dresses and I love feeling dressed up. I get that. Now, Lindsey wants to take an hour extra for herself to get ready and look like that, to feel that way all for it.
You can take two hours. I don't care. But if it's for me, cause you think, no, no, no, get that out of you. Get that out. I'd rather be eating early, going somewhere else and have an hour early to do an hour extra to do something else.
You know what I mean? But seriously, if it's for you, that's a totally different story. You're allowed to be selfish. You should be. You deserve it.
If we're going out, that's part of it. I built it in. We know what time we're going out. That's built in. Your time to get ready is built.
You know, like that's the way, that's the way men should do it. If you don't build the time in for the man, for the woman to get ready, you're doing it wrong already. Like you're behind already. Cause I learned early on with her, with Lindsey, don't ever say, oh, we're late. Nope.
Nope. We're not late. You build that time in and you know, so yeah. Yeah. I would say the coolest thing about this job or profession for men or women, it's the amount of confidence.
So I do think one of the most attractive things, regardless of gender is when people take up space with confidence. That is really, really attractive. And I think it changes every day when someone says, Hey, are you tired? Why are you tired? Are you crabby today?
Why are you look upset? Are you upset? People respond to that. They start to feel upset. They're tired.
They're tired. Start to feel what they've been told. I know it's so bizarre, but as soon as you take those little baby wrinkles away, the person feels like what they feel inside is being portrayed to the people that are looking at them. Because we do pick up on a lot of those cues with people's faces and if they're well slept and if, you know, they have allergies, all sorts of different things. So I think confidence when someone stops asking you if you're tired or mad, people are like, Hell yeah, this is going to be a great day.
You know, it changes their little hop. You remember Dumb and Dumber? Yeah. When he comes out in the like black suit and he's like, yeah, when I see my patients after and they're like, that is why I'm here is when you see their orange suit light up their face and they're so happy and all you did was smooth the wrinkle because it's not about what they look like. It's how they take up space.
Right? Yeah. Yeah. That's why I was afraid when we came in for an aura scan, I'm like, whoa, I don't know. I don't know what my aura is.
Actually, I thought today my aura was going to be like a black cloud with lightning in it. That's a little concerned. And then I saw this and you're like, Oh, it's scientific type of my face is not the blue or green or red. This one gets close. Right?
Pretty good. I like that. Now I know what these are here. There's a lot of this. There's a lot of this.
Yeah. What's that? From the vape pens and stuff, you know, from the Benjamin is the kids say these days. Yeah. Yeah.
The Vangie Lamar. I like that one. That's one of my favorites. That one's your favorite. I like Pindrick Lamar.
I don't know. That looks a little bit more like laughing too. I like laugh lines. Laugh lines. And what are these here?
These nasal labials. Okay. Whoa. What? Wait a minute.
You have some labia. You got some labias in both places. No, but this is, this is great. I think it, and I'm going to tell you the process. I came in, I sat down and I had to take my hat off, which I told her, I said, what if I took my hat off and like my hair came with it?
That would be so fun. Yeah. And she's like, I keep a straight face. I'm like, I don't know, but they put this nice headband on you and I got to take this paper with me. I don't know.
Yeah. You got a couple of these to go. I like it. Yeah. It's a good one.
Yeah. But yeah, that's all it was. And then I sat and I looked at this machine. It took two pictures. It was kind of like the men in black scan where they do the, and you forgot everything.
I don't know anything. You don't know what happened in here. It's all private. So my name up there, 42. I don't know if that's my age or the number of clone I am at this point.
No, I don't know what they did to me, but no, it took like 30 seconds. Really? Yeah. And you had all that. That was crazy.
Yeah. That's pretty easy. And that's pretty great. So it kind of helps us figure out your adventure. Yeah.
Beard detective. I like that. I like that. I just noticed that. I know it's pretty funny, but what if it says it your lady?
That's a rough conversation. I probably have a beard detective. I mean, yeah. Yeah. Can't be too bad.
I like, you know what view I like? Oh, let's see. Cause we're done filming. Yeah. Probably.
Yeah. Let's cut it. Hold on. This is the one where you're not in this one. I like looking from the top.
Look at it. Yeah. That's kind of a cool swirl with the ball. It's a swirl from the way they put on the headband. See, I wouldn't have guessed he has rosacea from looking at him.
Nope. Yeah, he does. You can see it starting. It's not as bad though. No.
Right here. You can see. When you drink, do you get rosy? I don't drink anymore. Before?
No, I didn't. Never did. I get rosy with some glasses of wine. Actually. With tequila in me.
He did. Whiskey, I bet. I think I got it. You can see the pattern. Flashing my face.
He got it on his cheeks and up in his neck. Yeah. You can see the pattern of it. Whiskey would do that to me. Yeah, you can see it pretty distinctly.
That's about where it would feel like. Yeah. And there's going to be some in the beard. And if you're just around hot, any type of sauna, steam room, anything that's hot, living in the whole south makes it even more intense. For sure.
Oh, heavens to Betsy. Oh, Lord. I think it's Lordy. All right, just wait. So we have this on camera.
Who is your, who are your favorite clients so far? Oh, she's trying to get you in. She's trying to get you. Favorite clients of what? Your podcast clients.
Or like people I've worked with? Yeah. Oh, man. They can't ask me that. No.
You're supposed to say us. Well, besides you guys, yeah. But I thought that was understood. I mean, I'm on your show. I thought that was understood.
I love all my shows. I love all my current shows. I love all the ones I've worked on. Parallel Frequencies. That's my daily show now.
I just get on there and talk. Talk about movies. That's why I got to make it. I make a lot of movie references. Yeah.
There's, what else I got? I got whole Rod the Wave Network. And then I worked on a bunch of stuff with Apple for a long time. And then Big Boys Neighborhood. Can't forget that.
So all the rappers worked with all them. So that was fun. But yeah, I'm not, I can't tell my favorite. You're my favorite client. You're definitely my favorite client.
Right here. This is in my room, in the room. But I thought that was understood. I thought it was, I thought you meant like, who was the next, you know, who was right after this? No.
Next time we'll have to talk about ADHD and where I get my questions from. Yeah, I love it. I think you did your own show. I think she could do her own podcast. I think she could.
Yeah. We did it. We worded it.
